L'accumulation de ces années de connaissances, de pratiques et de raffinements aboutissent désormais vers une ultime réalisation.                                        

Elle a reçu une formation universitaire en arts: UQAM et CONCORDIA

La préoccupation d’Huguette est de traduire dans son art la beauté des choses souvent insensibles
au quotidien et de les faire revivre sous un angle nouveau.

Huguette travaille en tant que plasticienne avec plusieurs médiums comme l'huile, l'acrylique, l'encre, et parfois elle y inclus des matériaux mixtes. Tout peut lui servir en autant que le procédé est concluant et que les matériaux sont de qualité appréciable. Elle adore les contrastes et la transparence autant que les passages d'aplats opaques et colorés. L’ajout de textures et d’empâtements me permettent de créer des tableaux qui vibrent en énergie et qui transmettent l'émotion.

Elle donne présentement des ateliers de formation (dessin, peinture) à Montréal et à l'Ile Perrot et ils sont devenus très populaires.

The results of my many years of learning, practice, and research have led Huguette towards a final culmination in her work.

Her main concern is to reproduce in her art all the beauty and the emotions of the every day life in a new and artistic way. She feels that painting can transform your daily things to creative blocks around artistic expression but also transform those attitudes and habits that keep you from meeting with imagination and courage the challenges of your daily life.

As plastician, she works in various media such as oils, acrylics, inks, and sometimes include mixtures in her process. Anything goes as long as the process is archival, and her materials are artist quality. She loves contrasts and transparencies as much as transitions of opaque tints, colour, and the addition of texture and impasto that can create paintings that vibrate with energy and that communicate emotions. Huguette is inspired by the actual physical act of painting and enjoys using the paint itself to create interesting compositions.  “The creative results are what give me my greatest satisfaction.” adds the artist.
